Mimesis is a contemporary photographic series by Francis Teynier, exploring the boundaries between materiality, abstraction and perception.
These composite landscapes — where very real elements emerge over backgrounds from Phénographies — have, of course, never existed.
They probe the ambiguous zone where imagination meets reality, in a subtle interplay of textures, light and suggestion.
